Fill a flour sack with edible greens and wild garlic. Grammy always filled her poke when she walked to visit her mother. Clean the greens and pat dry. Cook some fatty side meat that has been cured or smoked on the stove. Add equal parts water, sugar and vinegar to the skillet. Be careful. If your skillet is too hot the sugar will clump. Add greens and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Toss and stir until greens are wilted.
